Fall Baking

This has been the most pleasant late afternoon-early evening.  I got home from the office and set to work peeling and dicing apples from our little orchard, then assembling the most wonderful Fresh Apple Spice Cake.  With some great music (Horse Feather) playing on the stereo, my fall candles lit, and the autumn sun streaming in my kitchen window casting a beautiful golden glow on every surface, I just felt wonderful.
