Feeling better today...

Yesterday was a rough one. Fever, migraine, sore throat, muscle aches...suffice it to say I spent the day between our bed and the sofa. I'm feeling better today, but have nixed all festival weekend plans in favor of a quiet weekend at home to make sure and get some needed rest. I never miss the Hot Air Balloon Festival, but at least the lousy weather makes me feel a little better about it. Late last night, as I began to feel a bit more human and couldn't sleep for all the naps I had taken, I worked on a few photos to share. This one is from a day trip Ed and I took recently. We were both off on a Monday and, although the leaves had only just begun their transformations, we took off on some old back road to enjoy the beginning of the fall weather. We ended up in Harrisonburg and then drove down old Rt. 11, where we stumbed upon the Stores at Mauzy. I loved the way the sunlight shone through the glass in this photo.
