Architecture - Harrisonburg, Virginia

I love visiting older towns and cities and I always marvel at the quality of the building materials and the intricacy of the designs. With all the technology and big equipment available today, it boggles my mind that we build matchstick houses about a foot part for half a million dollars. On the other hand, back when transporting materials was difficult at best, they built simply stunning buildings with fine design details you just don't see anymore. I really admire the strength of the materials and quality of the work and design.
