Greenery

My favorite decorations last year were almost free. I cut Leland Cypress from our trees and large branches of holly from our property. I bought wet foam and soaked it and taped it in place in containers with floral tape, then just arranged the branches. I made some in ruby stemware like this with red ribbon/bows, or in white milk glass vases (with silver ribbons). My parents stayed Christmas Eve in the guest room and I made an arrangement in a martini glass and in a squat little vase for each side of the bed, then another set in a holiday basket in the bathroom. Mom loved them. The arrangements last two weeks!
