One of the reasons I want an old house is because of the details that make them so interesting. I love what care went into their design, and what beautiful woodwork was created to dress them up. I love the way the floors creek and the doors are solid and the windows cast images in wavy scenes. Everything is solid and has a rich patina evoking its history.
