I am finally getting the business end of this business finalized. I never realized how difficult it is to actually complete the Corporation paperwork, file it, take care of issues like taxes, insurance, advertising, etc., and also build my website and get all my pricing developed. I don't think many people realize the time and effort involved in the process of learning the actual technical aspect of professional photography, nor the expense involved. I read somewhere the photography is 90% drudgery, but the absolute joy I feel behind the camera leads me to believe otherwise. I am all about trying to capture an image that people really enjoy viewing.

Anyway, now I'm all about getting this blog up and going. I'm hoping to make it not all about business either. Photography is a creative art and the creative mind is never still. But for my first post, this will do. Let's see how it looks. By the way, the photo I'm including is from a recent wedding we shot in Hume, Virginia.
